How to connect Nokia 6.2 to TV

How to connect Nokia 6.2 to TV via Chomecast (Safe method)

Some methods found on the net seem not to work, the only way to cast the Nokia 6.2 screen to your TV is to buy a Google Chromecast. In order to cast the Nokia 6.2 screen, you need a Chromecast or Chromecast-enabled TV. 

You can read the Google tutorial here. Google clearly mentions that to cast your screen from your Android device you need Chromecast or TV with integrated Chromecast.

Cast the screen from your Nokia 6.2

  1. Connect your Android device to the same Wi-Fi network as Chromecast or TV with an integrated Chromecast.
  2. Download, install and open the Google Home app.
  3. In the top left corner of the app home screen, touch Menu Cast Screen / Audio Cast Screen / Audio.
  4. Select your Chromecast or your TV with the integrated Chromecast.

How to connect Nokia 6.2 to TV via Miracast

One of our users wrote to us, describing the method he used to connect the Nokia 6.2 to the TV. It only works with Android 9 with November and later patches.

  1. Make sure you have a TV that supports Miracast.
  2. Enable developer options (only works with Android 9 with November and later patches)
  3. Enable wireless display certification
  4. Touch and hold the cast on the notification panel and the Cast screen will open and the settings and options will appear.

Another user recommended this other method:

  1. Long press on the option Transmit (from the Quick settings panel) make sure that the WIFI is ACTIVE (do not close the open app).
  2. Then press the Cast option (in the Quick Settings panel) let it search for a few seconds.
  3. After a few seconds, you will see that the app opened in the first step in execution and that the name of the TV or PC will be displayed, tap it to connect the device.

Both methods work only with Android Pie and later versions.
