Design
The only difference from the body apart from the big size, is the separation of the dual rear shooters. This obviously differenciate others from the Plus version, even the dual-LED flash wasn’t left out of the spacing out. Sports a curvy and sleek dual antenna lines that’s not on the other versions.
Nonetheless, the fingerprint scanner and Huawei logo are still in theri typical position. The smartphone is very slim by the sides as well, measuring 7.4mm in thickness and weighs 170g overall. You cam get it in Gold, Blue, Black and pink colors only.
Display
As usual, the Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio with no narrow bezels in sight. The company marked their territory even from the front like they always do, with the Huawei logo sitting at the bottom bezel. While the top bezel houses the dual selfie camera, speaker grille and sensors.
The 5.93-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of 2160 x 1080 pixels in resolution. Enjoy immersive visuals with the Enjoy 8 Plus with its massive screen, with a pixel per inch density of 407. Overall, the screen stretches up to 77% screen to body ratio, while a 2.5D curved glass protects it all.
Hardware and Software
Behind the screen is the powerful Hisilicon Kirin 659 from Huawei, an Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-cores of processor reaches an impressive speed of 2.36GHz with a 28nm process technology as well. Administrating graphics is an ARM Mali-T830 MP2 graphics processor.
There’s a 4GB RAM space available for all your heavy multitasking, with a memory speed of 933MHz. While for storage, there are two versions, the initial version with 128GB internal storage space and a much affordable variant with 64GB. Both versions are upgradeable up to 256GB as the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Emotion UI 8.0 skin.
Camera
Enjoy four times the fun with the Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus, there’s a usual 13MP + 2MP rear shooters with f/2.2 aperture. The cameras capture photographs with a dimension 4163 x 3122 pixels. The cameras come with lots of quality features, a dual-LED flash and records FHD videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. For selfies, the dual 16MP + 2MP selfie shooters is perfect for group selfies.
Battery
Powering the Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus is a 4000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 1.6 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
