Design & display of Huawei Honor 9
First, the Huawei Honor 9 features a 5.15 inches display. While if we are to judge by the pictures of this device, it is a gorgeous one. The device has a fingerprint sensor which is mounted on the device’s front. The 5.15 inches display comes with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels while also featuring an LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen.
Processor, OS and storage
The device features an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor while it runs on an Android operating system v7.0 Nougat. Truth be told, there are a number of benefits that come with this version of the operating system. With basis on its internal storage, the device comes in two variants. One has an internal storage of 64 GB, 4/6 GB RAM and the other, 128 GB, 6 GB RAM. Both sizes of internal storage can be ramped up to 256 GB with the help of a micro SD card, but thing is, this would take the Sim 2 slot.
Camera
This aspect could be one of the best selling points the device could have. The Huawei Honor 9 sports a Dual 20MP + 12 MP camera f/2.2, phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom, dual-LED (dual tone) flash. On its front, there is a front facing camera with an 8MP quality.
Battery
As the powerhouse of this phone is a 3200 mAh, which is sure to last a big deal for not too heavy users. But then, I would not recommend such for the very heavy users. On a personal note, I’d say that I have not seen a battery capacity that will successfully cater for the very heavy users. I’m quite okay with this battery.
Price of the Huawei honor 9
The price of this great specs device is pegged at about 300 euros. In Nigeria, the price is pegged a little above 100,000 in naira. So, if (when) it comes to Nigeria, we should pay it frst. The release date for this device is 6th June 2017.
