Huawei Nova 5z has been launched in China and the company has presented this phone as a cheaper variant of Nova 5i Pro that came earlier this year. The phone features quad rear cameras and comes with a hole-punch display along with a gradient back finish. Huawei Nova 5z comes preloaded with Huawei’s Ark Compiler to improve app performance.

The phone runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie and features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080×2340. The aspect ratio of the display is 19.5:9 and has DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
Huawei Nova 5z is powered by a 7nm octa-core HiSillicon Kirin 810 Soc along with up to 8GB of RAM.
Moving on to the camera department, the phone has a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor, a 2 MP Macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone comes with a 32 MP camera that includes features like AI Beauty, AI Portrait, AI Detection, etc.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth V5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted at the back.
Huawei Nova 5z houses a 4000mAh battery that supports standard 10v/2A charging through the in-boxed charger.

The phone is available in two storage options- 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. However, the internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The base variant with 6G RAM and 64GB storage has been priced at CNY 1.599 and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 1,799. The phone comes in two color options- Black, Blue, and Green. The details regarding the global launch of this phone are yet to be revealed.
