Huawei remains one of the most consistent brand when it comes to smartphone release. It’s just not up for debate. The China based OEM churns out at least one smartphone in every month of the year. 2017 has particularly been crazy. The year is only few hours to conclusions and Huawei announces a new (high-end) smartphone – the Huawei P Smart.
The Huawei P Smart is a nice smartphone that packs features which makes it suited for the possible trend, competition and usage of the year 2018. Information has it that the device will be released early January in the CES 2018 event scheduled to hold that month. Without much ado, I present to you; the Huawei P Smart.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY
With a full metal (aluminum alloy) body covering, as well as the device’s bi-bezelless frontal, the Huawei P Smart level of elegance is top-notch. The slim figure also contributes largely to the device’s premium feel and overall appearance. The device has a dimension of 150.1 × 72.05 × 7.45mm and comes lightweight at 143 grams.
On display duties is the irregular-sized 5.65 inch 2.5D curved display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The display has a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a display density of 428 ppi. Those figures right there goes a long way to show that the screen of the Huawei P Smart is well placed for the best quality of visuals.
PROCESSOR OS AND STORAGE
One of the highlight feature of the Huawei P Smart is the Android Oreo operating system it comes out-of-the-box with. This means users of the device’s would enjoy features like smart notification, Picture-in-Picture mode and many other cool features of the Android Oreo OS.
Powering the P smart smartphone is Huawei’s native Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC with 2.36GHz Octa core Cortex-A53 processor. The device comes in 2 versions on the basis of storage combination. The smaller version has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory while the other, 4GB and 64GB respectively. Both versions storage capacity of up to 256GB via micro SD card in the second SIM card slot.
CAMERA AND BATTERY
The Huawei P Smart is also suited for high quality phonography. The device comes with a tri-camera system; 2 lenses on the rear, 1 on the front. The primary rear cameras has a quality of 13 Megapixels and while the secondary is a 2 Megapixels lens.
The shooter up front is loner; alone with the task of shooting selfie photos. The lens is an 8 Megapixels lens.
There is a Lithium Polymer battery embedded in the Huawei P Smart with a capacity of 3,000mAh. The battery can conveniently provide a talk time of 11 hours and the fast battery charging will boost the device from 0% to a 100% within the space of 2 hours 30 minutes.
