Huawei Mobile has officially launched its 2016 flagship smartphones, Huawei P9 at a media event in London. The Huawei P9 is another addition to the line of Huawei P series family. It retains same premium aluminium design created by some of the world’s top industrial designers to achieve a visually stunning design with diamond-cut edges, rounded out by beautiful curvatures.

Huawei P9 flaunts same 5.2-inch IPS screen sported on its predecessor with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 423-ppi pixel density suitable for good imaging.
Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 955 Quad-core processor that clocks up to 2.5 GHz powers the device. It comes in two variants – 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM variants.
Looking at the camera department sports some significant changes, the Huawei P9 rear view has two 12-megapixel rear sensors with dual-LED flash, 1.25um pixels and a hybrid autofocus which Huawei says work together to produce a single image with both natural color and impressive detail. The cameras are accompanied by a range of impressive features, including smile, voice and gesture recognition as well as touch capture.
This new smartphone also offers 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfie image capturing.
The Huawei P9 boots Android Marshmallow (Android 6.0) OS and comes preloaded with EMUI (Emotion UI) — its own flavor of Android as with other Huawei devices.
