Huawei has done it again by releasing a good quality mobile device in Sri Lanka this month of November 2018. Known as the Huawei Y Max, people have been commenting on how nice this device will be for watching movies. However, looking at the specs, it is not just that.
Huawei Y Max, also known as Huawei Enjoy Max 2018, is a quality mid-range device that is high class in speakers, camera, performance, and also in storage. This is the phone that will get people reappraising the Honor 8X Max. The two devices look too identical on the surface.

Design and Display Huawei Y Max
Body design of this device is metal and glass body, with leather finish at the rear. The dimensions are 177.6 x 86.2 x 8.13 mm and it weighs 210 grams. It comes in two colors; black and white. This device is not water resistant, but has fingerprint sensor and face recognition technology.
Display type is 7.12 inches screen size; IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen. Pixel density is 350 ppi, screen resolution is 2244 x 1080, display colors are 16 million. Other display features are 2.5D curved glass, 18.7:9 aspect ratio, waterdrop notch, and 90 percent screen to body ratio.
Camera Features

Android OS v8.1 Oreo runs the Huawei Y Max and we are definitely convinced that it will upgrade to the latest Android 9 Pie in due time. The operating system works on EMUI user interface. The hardware consists Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with process technology 14nm, working on 64-bit technology. There is also Octa-core 4 x 2.2 GHz Kryo and another CPU herein. Finally, there is the Adreno 512 GPU.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
Internal memory 4GB of RAM exists in the device which the user is not able to expand. However, at the internal storage capacity, the smartphone is actually two variants; 64GB and 128GB. These can be increased up to 256Gb with a micro SD card used in SIM 2 slot.
Sensors in the device include accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, compass, gyro, and fingerprint.
Network and Connectivity Huawei Y Max
The device comes with supported network of GSM, HSPA, and LTE. In other words, this means that the device is 2G, 3G, and 4G compliant. There are two hybrid/nano SIM card slots to make things happen.
Other connectivity components are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. However, there are no infrared, NFC, or HDMI in the Huawei Y Max.
Battery Life
Powering the device is a fantastic 5000 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery, which has the capacity of eight hours of movie playback. Nevertheless, it has no wireless charger but there is fast charging technology available.
