The Tecno i7 was launched in the Tecno i series of smartphones alongside the Tecno i3, i3 Pro, i5 and i5 Pro in the Indian smartphone market on the 16th of April. The Tecno i7 packs many spectacular features that haven’t been seen before in Tecno smartphones, some of which we talked about in a previous article.

Display & Design
The Tecno i7 comes with a 5.5-inch display with a Full HD (1920 * 1080) pixel resolution and IPS display technology. The smartphone has a metal unibody design and has a physical home button below the display at the front, with capacitive navigation buttons on its both sides.
Storage & Processor
The i7 uses an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, meaning you won’t be experiencing lags anytime soon. The phone has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
Camera
The Tecno i7 sports a 13MP camera with a quad-LED flash system at the rear, ensuring that your pictures are of good quality and bright. Videos recorded and photos taken in the night with the camera are better, thanks to Tecno’s PIXELEX engine.
The phone also features a 16MP selfie snapper at the front for taking close-up photos at a high quality. It’s obvious that this phone is selfie-centred, as it even comes with a screen flash feature and a separate LED flash for the front camera.
Battery & Connectivity
The Tecno i7 packs a 4000mAh battery which is large enough to take the phone through a day’s average use, and even if you use up the battery juice before the day is over, Tecno’s Rocket Charging fast charging technology is available to get the phone up and running in no time.
The phone comes with a dual SIM slot, the first of which supports 4G LTE network connectivity. It supports USB OTG and has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS to take care of your wireless connectivity needs.

The Tecno i7 features an anti-oil fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Tecno’s HiOS layered on top.

Availability and Price of Tecno i7 in India & Nigeria
The Tecno i7 comes in Champagne Gold, Sky Black & Space Grey colour variants and wouldn’t be available in India until early May. The smartphone would cost Rs. 14,990 in India and around N75,000 in Nigeria.
