Infinix NOTE 4; Unboxing & First Impressions

The Infinix Note 4 also known as the Infinix X572 is an upgrade of the NOTE 3 device and addition to Infinix range of NOTE smartphone series.

NOTE 4 14

It comes with a promise of 5 minutes charge that gives a 200 minutes talk time with its new Xcharge technology, the Infinix Note 4 does seem to be confident. The company also boasted that the device has a sharp display.

From what I can see of the Infinix Note 4, the latter looks like it; they were indeed trying to outdo themselves. You will see what I mean from this unboxing we are about to experience.

But before we take a deep look into the workings of this phablet, first, let us examine what is in the box of this device.

Along with the Infinix Note 4 are other things that accompanied the phone in the box:

NOTE 4 21

  • 1 USB cable
  • 1 power adapter
  • 1 pair of earphones
  • 1 protective film
  • 1 Transparent jacket
  • 1 User guide
  • 1 Customer service card

Infinix Note 4 looks like the Note 3, but there are just a few changes here and there. There has been a tiny bump in technical specifications and design, and it’s all summarized below:

Technical Specifications

  • Android  7.0 Nougat
  • 5.7 ” Full HD Sharp screen
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB internal expandable memory
  • Octa Core Processor
  • Dual SIM capability Micro SIM cards with memory stick slot.
  • 13MP auto-focus rear camera with flash
  • 8MP front-facing camera with front soft flash
  • 4,300mAh non-removable battery with fast charge
  • Fingerprint reader

NOTE 4 06

The Note 4 is enclosed in a blue multilayered cardboard box that is protected from sliding freely off the bluish compartment by transparent light nlynol.

The outer box covering the slide-out compartment houses the device itself and other accessories.

NOTE 4 19

The first thing in the box is the Infinix Note 4 cushioned in a white plastic mold.

NOTE 4 09

Taking the phone out of the box, the first thing that will draw your attention is the front mounted fingerprint scanner that also serves as a physical home button on the bottom center of the device with two capacitive soft keys guiding it, but these are not backlit. Also, we have the light sensor, notification LED at the top and the 8MP selfie camera.

When I first heard about the device online, I had a thought that this phone would come with the dual rear camera, since that is the new trend now with smartphones. Nonetheless, the Phablet enjoys a few profitable features that simply can not be overlooked.

On the right side of the phone is the volume rocker and power button, while we have a blank left (nothing on the left side of the device). As for SIM card and the microSD card, three slots have been provided inside the phone back cover. This means that the back cover can be removed (but not battery).

The top holds just the earphone jack to the left. There are seemingly two speaker grills at the bottom, but the phone comes with a mono speaker (left). The other grill (right) is the microphone.

The back of the phone reminds one of the Note 3, double LED flashlight and 13MP camera are positioned vertically, but no fingerprint sensor here.

NOTE 4 26

The Note 4 device is a beautifully designed smartphone that is well thought. Its sleekness and physical home button give me great aesthetic pleasure.

At 5.7 inches, the Infinix Note 4 is a little bit weighty. With this phablet, I am going to settle into typing with two hands again.
