The Infinix Note 8i is the affordable version of the Note 8 smartphone. The device was announced with the later and it comes with the same quad cameras setup and also powered by Helio G80 and maintains the same storage. The difference is that the camera MP has been reduced as well as the screen display size and it now has a single front camera instead of dual on the Note 8.

Design And Display
In terms of body design, the Infinix Note 8i maintains the same built-in quality as the latter. The entire body is built with glass and plastic. It has a smooth panel housing both the cameras and an LED flash with the Infinix brand logo while the fingerprint scanner is on the side.
It measures 171.4 x 77.7 x 8.9 mm in dimensions. The Note 8i offers a screen size of 6.78 inches with an IPS LCD that has 480 nits brightness. There is a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and 264 PPI density. Overall, it reaches 82.0% screen-to-body ratio and has display protection.
The cameras set up on the device are quad. There is a 48 MP main shooter coupled with a 2 MP macro camera, another 2 MP depth sensor, and an additional 2 MP camera. The camera features Quad-LED flash, HDR, panorama and it can shoot 1440p@30fps video quality. The selfies camera is 8 MP and it’s paired with a Dual-LED flash.
Hardware And Software
On the hardware, the Infinix Note 8i is equipped with a Mediatek Helio G80 chipset built on a 12nm process node while the octa-core processor is handling its assignment at a speed of 2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55. It has a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for graphics and runs on Android 10 OS based on XOS 7.1 on top.
Storage Capacity And Sensors
It has the same inbuilt storage of 128GB and 6GB RAM. There is a dedicated slot on the device that you can use to expand the storage as well. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
Battery Power And Network Connectivity
Fueling the budget smartphone is a 5200 mAh battery and the juicer has support for fast charging technology. It features a 4G network on the dual SIMs with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, FM radio, GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go.
