The Innjoo Halo debuted last year and it was an instant hit in the low-end smartphone market due to its low price tag and moderate specifications. Now, Innjoo has launched its successor, the Innjoo Halo 2 LTE with 4G LTE connectivity.
Most of the specs remain the same, but the most important ones like network connectivity and software have been improved. However, the battery has been downgraded, a development that makes me wonder if this phone is indeed a successor.
Innjoo Halo 2 LTE Specifications, Review and Highlights
The Innjoo Halo 2 LTE has the same 5-inch IPS touchscreen with an HD (1280 * 720) pixel resolution. The phone also retains the design of the original Innjoo Halo.
It is powered by a quad-core MTK 6737 processor with a speed of 1.3GHz, has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
The battery capacity is 2600mAh, down from the 3200mAh battery present in the Innjoo Halo. This is a case of giving with the left hand and taking with the right hand, since the phone comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow instead of the Halo’s KitKat/Lollipop OS.
The camera specs of the Innjoo Halo 2 LTE remains the same; a 5MP camera at the rear and a 2MP for taking selfies at the front. Apart from the 4G LTE network connectivity, all other connectivity options also remain the same.
