Itel has done it again, this time raising the bar in the new Itel A52 smartphone just released in September 2018. This is another low budget smartphone but which surprisingly packs in a lot of impressive features for small budget buyers.

Itel A52 Design and Display
The Itel A52 is made up of aluminum body. This gives it that impressive design when you look at it from a distance. The device weighs 189 grams and has dimensions of 149.7 x 72.42 x 9.55 mm. This smartphone is not water resistant and it has no secondary display at all. However, this doesn’t mean that it has no impressive features.
Display features include a 5.5 inches screen of IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. The resolution is 720 x 1440 pixels. Despite that, the pixel density is 295 ppi and the screen to body ratio is 71.4 percent, while aspect ratio is 18:9.

The dual rear camera setup is 5 MP plus 0.3 MP which is capable of producing lesser quality images and pictures. Video capacity is 720p@30fps with FHD recording and dual LED flash. The features herein include auto focus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, exposure compensation, face detection, geo-tagging, HDR, ISO settings, and more.
Selfie camera to the front is simply 5 MP with minimal features that only naïve teenagers may treasure.

Primary operating system found on the Itel A52 is Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition with modified user interface. We trust this can upgrade to latest Android later. However, the primary chipset in the device is MediaTek MT6737M with process technology 28nm. Furthermore, the CPU is Quad-core 1.3 GHz 4-Cores. The architecture here on Itel A52 is 64-bit, while the GPU is Mali-T720 MP2.
Storage Capacity
There is an internal memory of 1GB RAM which is not expandable but the internal storage of 8GB can be expanded with a microSD card up to 128GB. This simply justifies the reason for Itel A52 price.
Network and Connectivity
Itel A52 is able to handle 2G, 3G, and 4G internet networks, signifying that it is versatile and can run on different internet speeds. However, there is more to that, as it also comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, hotspot, USB Type-C, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack, and more.
Nevertheless, the Itel A52 doesn’t come with infrared and NFC capabilities. It comes with two Nano SIM slots and the user can operate 4G network from any of these.

For backup, Itel A52 has 4000 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery which very powerful for this type of device and that can offer power for days on end for the user. There is no fast charging or wireless charging technology for the device whatsoever.

Itel A52 was announced in July 2018 and released a month later, in September 2018. It sells for about $70 USD and by now is available for purchase online and offline.
