Koolnee Opeth has launched as well by the company alongside the Koolnee Apex smartphone. Both devices are expected to make their official debut at the Mobile Electronics Exhibition in Hong Kong from April 18th to the 21st.

Design
One of the few budget smartphones with a Metal and Plastic mix body. At the rear, we can see they got their inspiration from the Galaxy S9 Plus, with the way the features are aligned.
The dual shooters leads the table at the top middle, with a dual-LED flash by the side and the fingerprint scanner underneath. It boasts of curved sides and edges as well, making the device look so sleek and stunning even from a distance.
Display
Koolnee is known for making only bezel-less affordable smartphones, and the Opeth didn’t shy in that department. Giving us the Galaxy S8 vibe from the front, with no narrow bezels in sight and super minimal top and bottom bezel.
The 5.7-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is better than the screen on most budget smartphones in it’s price range. With 1280 x 640 pixels in resolution and 251 pixel per inch density, it delivers normal visuals for an 18:9 aspect ratio screen.

Hardware and Software
Behind this beautiful screen is the MediaTek MT6580A chip with a Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-cores of processor on this beauty reaches the standard speed of 1.4GHz with 28nm process technology. Handling graphics is the Mali 400MP2 graphics processor which clocks at 500MHz.
There’s a standard 2GB RAM space available here with 533MHz memory speed. Internally, 16GB storage space is available as well and upgradeable up to 128GB, if you need more space to store bigger files and apps. The Koolnee Opeth runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box.
Camera
There’s a Galaxy-like dual rear 13MP + 2MP camera at the top middle with a dual-LED flash beside it, always ready for night shoots. The camera comes with lots of features according to the company and records videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. While the 5MP selfie camera is ready for selfies.

Battery
Powering the Koolnee Opeth is a 3000mAh removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2.5 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
