LG Fiesta is a mid-range smartphone released by LG some months back. The smartphone’s OEM – LG (Life’s Good) has released several flagship smartphones that have taken the smartphone market like a whirlwind. Examples of such are the LG G6, LG G6+, LG Q6, LG V30 and several others till you have a long list. LG Fiesta is a very comfy smartphone, mind you, there are some downsides to the smartphone. We’ll tackle both the good and the bad in the review that’s coming straight at you.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
LG Fiesta’s design is all but simple with the thick bezels on both top and bottom locations occupying the front camera and LG logo respectively. The rear also contains the LG logo but it also has the primary camera as another occupant. There is a LED flash on the side of the rear camera placed in a very nice format. The rear has a very smooth feel. No fingerprint sensor makes it into the LG Fiesta design. The smartphone has a weight of 163 g and a thickness of 8.4 mm. The length of the smartphone is 154.69 mm while its breadth is 78 mm. Its plastic body only comes in the Black colour.
The smartphone has a 5.5 inches IPS HD capacitive display. A resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 267 ppi pixel density handles the screen’s sharpness. There is the In-Cell Touch that makes the display more delighting and bright. The display area has 69.07% screen-to-body ratio.
HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND MEMORY
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 serves as the smartphone’s chipset while an ARM Cortex-A53 with four cores serves as the CPU. The CPU is the 64-bit processor type which makes use of the 28nm process technology. The CPU clocks at a low speed of 1.4GHz. The GPU present on the smartphone is the Qualcomm Adreno 308. The smartphone runs on Android v7.0 Nougat out of box. The RAM on the smartphone isn’t on the high side as it pegs 1.5GB. Lagging will be easily accomplished if too much apps are loaded on the device. In the internal storage segment, a 16GB capacity is made available. The smartphone can even accommodate a micro SD card of 2 TB.
CAMERA AND CONNECTIVITY
The smartphone has a rear camera of 13 MP quality. The rear camera has the f/2.2 aperture and a LED flash support. Some features of the rear camera include – autofocus, manual mode, panorama and HDR. The front camera has a 5MP sensor with the f/2.2 aperture with a LED flash present. 2G , 3G and 4G LTE network types are present on the smartphone for cellular connectivity purposes.
BATTERY
The smartphone has a large non-removable Lithium Polymer 4,500 mAh battery that presents a talk time of 22.3 hours. The smartphone lacks the fast charging technology to quicken the charging speed.
