LG Q92 spotted on Google Play Console, packs a Snapdragon 765 5G chipset

Recently, there were rumors suggesting that South Korean company, LG had plans to launch multiple 5G smartphones, one of them being the LG Q92 5G. It is beginning to seem like the rumor is true after all as an LG device listed as Q92 has appeared on Google Play Console (via Gadgets Rewind).

The Google Play Console listing, as always, shows a front render of the phone. From the render, we can see a punch-hole designed positioned in the center to house the front-facing camera.

The details included in the listing revealed that the device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor. The mobile platform is a fast mid-range ARM-based chipset. This chipset happens to be one of the first processors to integrate a 5G modem- the Snapdragon X5. The modem supports speeds of up to .7 / 1.6 Mbps (down- and upload) and mmWave and Sub-6. Another feature of the processor is the Adreno 620 GPU. The phone also packs 6GB of RAM but we don’t know as of yet if that is the base model of the device.

The phone will feature an FHD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. We do not know the size of the display as of yet but we do know it will come with Android 10 out of the box.

There have been no official confirmations from the company regarding the phone and its details. However, many believe the LG Q92 5G is a cheaper alternative to the LG Velvet 5G.
