Meizu 16s Pro Specs Review, Wireless Charging, No MicroSD Card Slot

To tell you the truth, Meizu has not announced that this phone will come into being. But BGR has reported the leak of this smartphone that will soon be announced and released into the smartphone market. So, what you will get below in this review is confirmed by Antutu. There will be two variants to choose from. Read on to get more info on how this smartphone will look like.

Meizu 16s Pro Design and Display

This Meizu 16s Pro comes as a bar shaped glass/metal frame and body design device. Dimensions and weight are not known yet. This, however, is not a waterproof phone. It arrives in one color of gray, which to me is not enough and some people will definitely not buy that phone because they don’t like gray color.

When you look at the display, you find Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. The screen size is 6.4 inches, which I believe good for gaming and watching movies. Yet, the pixels resolution in the display is not at par with the screen size as it stands at a high 2232 x 1080. I wonder how sharp the 16 million colors would look like. It surely should be wonderful. Furthermore, the pixel density is 402 ppi. There’s also 2.5D curved screen glass for display protection, a feature known as always On Display.

Camera Features

I notice that there are three cameras in the Meizu 16s Pro. Also, the rear cameras in the phone are 64 MP, 16 MP, and 13MP. Ah! This looks impossible; you may say but let’s wait and see. Video resolution of 2160p and 1080p are also available and that’s good enough. Also, it is coming with six LEDs flashlight. Features of auto focus, continuous shooting, HDR, and many others like these can be found on the smartphone camera department. Following that, 20 MP is situated at the front for selfies.

Hardware and Software

Meizu 16s Pro runs on Android v9.0 Pie on Flyme 8 user interface. This is fortified with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 64-bit processor, process technology 7nm, which is very powerful. There is also the CPU Octa core, while the GPU is Qualcomm Adreno. Here is the first area in which we noticed that this phone comes in two variants.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

The Meizu 16s Pro is rich with variants of 6GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM, which cannot be expanded and the internal storage of 128GB and 256GB can’t also be boosted externally with a microSD card because there’s no such thing in this phone. The manufacturer thinks that is all the space users will ever need. Sensors are fingerprint, accelerometer, compass, hall, gyroscope, proximity, and ambient light.

Network and Connectivity

Yes, the Meizu 16s Pro is 4G Android phone that has capacity for two nano SIM slots. It builds on LTE band from speed 850 MHz to 2600 MHz. I guess this is some speed of course.

Connectivity components like Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, NFC, USB 2.0, audio jack, and other features. There is no HDMI, or infrared support for this phone but that’s normal.

Battery Power

Powering the Meizu 16s Pro is a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. In addition to that, it comes with wireless charging and fast charging option. This phone battery is able to give a backup for up to more than one day.

Price and Availability

Conclusively, the price of Meizu 16s Pro smartphone is unknown as it has not been announced yet. For the availability, the smartphone is soon to be available for shipping probably as from of September 2019 and onward.
