Meizu X2 has been in the works for about two years but now in the month of February 2019, the news about this smartphone has resurfaced. Like you see in the title, this is expected to be a top-level Android smartphone. Fans had expected it close to the end of 2018 but it was not released.
Now, it is expected to enter the smartphone market by March 2019. What are the strong points of this phone? Granted, any latest smartphone will be expected to do well at the display, performance and at the camera department. As we review the Meizu X2, let’s hope it satisfies our expectations.
Design and Display
To start with, this phone arrives in metal body design with fingerprint scanner. Dimensions and weight are not specified yet. It comes in gold, gray, rose gold and silver colors. Meanwhile, this phone has no waterproof protection but has face recognition.
Also, it is moderate with 5.7 inches of IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen. There is no secondary display but it has display protection. To be added, it sports 2160 x 1080 pixels of screen resolution. Also, there are 16 million colors with other nice features such as 18:9 aspect ratio, corning Gorilla glass protection, and 401 ppi pixel density.

This phone has dual primary rear camera that comes with LED flash. Additionally, at the front the selfie camera is 8 MP lens without front screen flash. However, the video performance in the device is 2160p and 1080p.
Then, the camera features in the phone are as follows- Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR, with other features.

Also, Meizu X2 also sports Android OS v8.1 Oreo as the operating system that lives on Flyme UI user interface. In addition to that, the device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Besides that, the CPU is Oct-core and the GPU is Adreno 540.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
Notably, there is a 4GB RAM in the device, which cannot be increased. At the other side, the internal storage is 32GB and another 4GB + 64GB, both can be increased to 256GB through a micro-SD card. Furthermore, there are five sensors in the phone and they are accelerometer, proximity, fingerprint, gyro, and light.
Network and Connectivity
Actually, Meizu X2 phone is supported by GSM, HSPA and LTE networks. In view of these, this phone is able to manage 2G, 3G and 4G networks. This makes it a 4G mobile device that has dual hybrid/nano SIM card slot.
Furthermore, Meizu X2 also has Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, headphone jack and USB v2.0. Type C. Clearly, there are no infrared, NFC, and HDMI in this device.
Battery Life in Meizu X2
The battery is a Li-Ion 3350 mAh non-removable battery. It has no wireless charging and it has fast charging support. The talk time and standby time are not specified.
