Taiwan based Computer company Asus has announced the launch of a variant of the Zenfone 3 Deluxe that would be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe together with its compatriots, Zenfone 3 and Zenfone Ultra were released not too long ago.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe was initially announced to feature a Snapdragon 820 chipset back then, but with this new announcement the device would be available in two chipset variant.
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe also sports a 5.7” FHD screen, 6GB of RAM, multiple built-in storage variants which start at 64GB, with the largest being 256GB.
The device also features a very huge 23MP rear facing camera which features Asus’s TriTech focus. The super smartphone uses the Sony IMX318 sensor, which features a super quick 0.03s auto-focus and three-axis electronic image stabilization for video. The phone can shoot 4K 3,840×2,160-pixel video, and there’s also two tone flash, a colour sensor and laser auto-focus.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe variant with Snapdragon 821 will be priced at 24,990 TWD in Taiwan ($776 US dollars) for the 6GB RAM/256GB on-board storage version. If you are not willing to shell out such an amount, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe with Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage will be available for 15,990 TWD in Taiwan ($496 US dollars) and another with the same SnapDragon 820 chip but 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage carries a price tag of 17,990 TWD ($550 US Dollars).
