The fingerprint sensor of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is positioned at the back. While that of the Meizu 15 Plus is embedded in its home button.
The Meizu 15 Plus is slimmer and lighter to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. Weighing 177 grams and measuring 7.3 mm thickness is the Meizu 15 Plus. The 5.95 inch Super AMOLED screen has a display resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels with 494 PPI density. The Meizu 15 Plus is bezel-less with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The top bezel houses the front camera while the bottom bezel houses the home button.
But for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, which has an 18:9 aspect ratio. There is no top bezel, while the bottom bezel houses the front camera. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S features a 5.99 IPS LCD touchscreen, which is protected by Corning gorilla glass 4. It comes with a display resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 403 PPI density.

According to DxOMark, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is ranked 7th on their list of best smartphone with image quality. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S had a score of 97, which is the same score as the iPhone X. It’s hard to see the Meizu 15 Plus beating that score. Though the smartphone is yet to be ranked by DxOMark.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S houses a dual rear camera with a 12MP f/1.8 primary sensor and 12MP f/2.4 secondary sensor. While at the front camera lens is a 5MP f/2.0 shooter. The Meizu 15 Plus’s dual rear camera features a 12MP f/1.8 primary sensor and 20MP secondary sensor. And a 20MP sensor front camera with f/2.0 aperture, which is perfect for selfies.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S wins this category, thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The chipset is the latest version from Snapdragon and its overall performance is impressive. The chipset in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S carries 4-cores processor clocked at 2.8GHz and 4-cores processor clocked at 1.8GHz. While powering the Meizu 15 Plus is Samsung’s Exynos 8895 with 4-cores clocking at 2.5GHz and 4-cores clocking at 1.7GHz.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S runs on the latest Android operating system, Android 8.0 Oreo with MiUI 9.5. While Meizu 15 Plus runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box with Flyme UI 7.0.
