The Meizu E3 and Xiaomi Mi 6X feature an aluminum body design with a front glass. While the Meizu E3 measures 156.8 x 75 x 7.6 mm and weighs 160 grams. The Xiaomi Mi 6X measures 158.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm and weighs 168 grams. The dual rear camera set-up of both phones is in a vertical position at the top left. The only difference is the LED flash of the Xiaomi Mi 6X is in between the dual camera. While the LED flash of the Meizu E3 is below the dual camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 6X features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. While on the Meizu E3 is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Meizu E3 features a 3.5mm audio jack which Xiaomi ditched in the Xiaomi Mi 6X. The Xiaomi Mi 6X is available in Cherry Pink, Flame Red, Sand Gold, Glacier Blue and Black body colors. While the Meizu E3 is available in Black Stone, Moonlight Silver, and Champagne Gold body colors.

In this department, you can hardly tell a difference between the two devices. They are both bezel-less with an 18:9 aspect ratio. While Meizu E3 screen stretches up to 78.7% screen-to-body ratio. The Xiaomi Mi 6X screen stretches up to 77.4% screen-to-body ratio. Both smartphones feature a 5.99 inch with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and 403 PPI density.

The Meizu E3 features the same 12 megapixels and 20 megapixels resolution in its dual rear camera like the Mi 6X. But was let down by its aperture, a f/1.9 aperture in the primary lens and a f/2.6 aperture in the second lens. The front camera features 8 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture.

The Xiaomi Mi 6X is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset which features 2.2GHz 8-core processor. While the Qualcomm Snapdragon 637 chipset powers the Meizu E3 with 8-cores processor reaching a speed of just 1.8GHz. According to Xiaomi, the Snapdragon 660 offers 21% better performance to the Snapdragon 636.
However, both chipset comes with a version 4.0 quick charge technology. The Meizu E3 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with Flyme 7.0 operating system. While the Xiaomi Mi 6X runs on Android 8.1 Oreo underneath the MiUI 9.5. The Meizu E3 comes with a standard 6GB RAM with either 64GB or 128GB storage. While the Xiaomi Mi 6X offers different variants, the 64GB storage comes with either 4GB or 6GB RAM. And the 128GB storage comes with a 6GB RAM.
