2019 was the year in which the first smartphones featuring four photographic sensors made their debut.
There are those who denigrate this arrangement, calling it a waste of resources for the sole purpose of increasing smartphone costs, and those who instead reward the choice of the tetra-camera. In short, while the debate continues, it seems that other producers are interested in adopting the four photographic sensors.
Among these could be Motorola, as the potential of a new smartphone equipped with four cameras has emerged online in the past few hours.
The details on the device are actually relatively few, but thanks to this render we can see some purely aesthetic aspects.
We are talking about a 6.2-inch display, with a drop-shaped notch that houses a sensor for the front camera. And right on the back, we find a space reserved for the four sensors that closely resemble the setting adopted by Apple in its recent iPhone.
Interesting the absence of a sensor for fingerprints, which at this point we suspect is hidden directly under the display of the smartphone. At this point, we just have to wait for any declarations from the manufacturer on the possible launch date, prices or any more detailed specifications.
Meanwhile, we leave you to the rendered images of the Motorola:
