Facebook Messenger is one of Facebook’s messaging apps. However, over the last few years, Facebook has added a host of new features and functionality to the application, making its main page full of various menus and making it less friendly for messaging.
The matter is changing today. Following the Facebook announcement to introduce a new version of Messenger, today they have begun introducing updates to Messenger in stages for mobile device users.
The new designs offered are much simpler, and focus fully on messaging features. Now it comes with three main menus focusing on messaging, friends, and even Discover. No more unnecessary menus as before, as well as offering dark theme options for users. Facebook Stories support is still maintained, but now it is positioned neatly and not “checked” as before.
Facebook says this new app will be introduced gradually to all in the coming weeks.
