The Nokia 9 PureView was undoubtedly one of the most exclusive smartphones launched last year, thanks to the Penta-camera system. However, it has experienced some problems. However, now it seems that HMD Global is ready to return to this idea, and Nokia 9.3 PureView can rock it.
Nokia 9.3 Pureview: Samsung and Huawei can shake in the photo!
Information received by the NokiaPowerUser website suggests that the next Nokia 9.3 PureView will arrive with a new Penta-camera system. At least with a revised system. More specifically, it abandons the Light technology that was used in the original model.
This specific information is in line with information that was made public in January, and that said that HMD Global was going to leave Light as a partner due to the lack of post-launch support for the Nokia 9 PureView that was felt last year.
This Finnish company is now believed to be working with a new partner to perfect its state-of-the-art camera system. It is not yet known which partner. However, it appears that the two are planning several major updates.
Apparently, it will be “one of the most powerful camera solutions in a top of the range. That said, it will feature a 64-megapixel main camera. Must support optical image stabilization. Next to this camera will be another 108-megapixel ultra-wide-angle.
There is still no information about the remaining specifications of the cameras. Still, they are expected to act as telephoto, macro, and depth sensors, respectively.
Of course, it is still too early to see if this will really be so. However, if Nokia is betting on such a strong camera system, then it will be betting on other important points as well. So, we should have a 48-megapixel selfie camera. Other features speak of a Snapdragon 865 chipset, support for 5G networks, and a “naked” version of Android integrated within the Android One program.
Nokia 9.3 PureView is expected to be launched later this year, alongside Nokia 7.3, at an event held in late August or September.
