For those of us that love OnePlus smartphones, this is the right time to grab one of the phones. The reason is that we now have a midrange smartphone from OnePlus. The new budget phone comes with the moniker OnePlus Nord N100. As you can see, it’s still from the Nord series, and it’s built with cool features that many will love to have.
Design And Display
The OnePlus Nord N100 is built to be great. The body is wrapped with all plastic and it has glass on the front. The panel is home to the fingerprint scanner and triple cameras coupled with the LED flash. It measures 164.9 x 75.1 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weighs 188 grams.
On the front, the smartphone offers a large display size of 6.52 inches with a punch hole on the left side of the screen. The screen provides a decent resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 ratio, and 269 PPI density. It reaches 82.9% screen-to-body ratio and has display protection of Corning glass 3.
Cameras Features
For photos, there is a triple camera system on the OnePlus Nord N100. The cameras include a primary sensor of 13 MP wide with another macro camera of 2 MP and lastly is 2 MP depth sensor. The cameras features LED flash, HDR, panorama and it can shoot 1080p@30fps, gyro-EIS video resolution. The selfie snapper is 8 MP and it has HDR and other goodies.
Hardware And Software
On the hardware, the device is powered by Qualcomm SM4250 Snapdragon 460 chipset based on an 11nm process node with an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 240 & 4×1.6 GHz Kryo 240. It has Adreno 610 GPU for graphics and runs on Android 10 OS with OxygenOS 10.5 user interface on top.
Storage Capacity And Sensors
The inbuilt storage on the device is available in 64GB and 4GB RAM. You can still expand the memory using a micro SDcard but not beyond 128GB. The sensors include the rear-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
