Oppo Find X stripped. See how the hidden camera works

The new smartphone from the Chinese company has been presented striking for its particular technological skills. The hidden camera has undoubtedly intrigued, and MyFixGuide has decided to show how it works by disassembling the new Find X.

Oppo Find X was presented in a media event in Paris immediately redeeming the curiosity of all users due to the presence of a full-screen display that precludes the absence, at least in view, of the camera both front and rear. Oppo has in fact thought of bypassing the thing by mounting on the new Find X a real mechanized slider system capable of activating and therefore letting out a part of the frame of the device only in case of an eventuality.

A definitely interesting solution that allowed the company to increase the surface of the screen but above all not having to incur the positioning of the much “hated” notch that many other competitors have instead had to insert frontally. But how does the system really work? MyFixGuide has decided to take down the new smartphone of the Chinese company and to understand closely what technology Oppo has included in its Find X cameras.

The sliding system, as you can see from the images, is nothing more than a small “step-by-step” engine positioned in the central part of the smartphone which at a pulse tends to push or lower the upper part of the device. This tends to slide on two special tracks that have been placed along the right and left edges. A simple system that, however, Oppo has integrated first compared to others as the solution of Vivo to make appear only the front camera is very different from this of Oppo.

During disassembly, it is also possible to observe the presence of all the various sensors for the release with the recognition of the three-dimensional face. A little ‘as already done by Apple with iPhone X, in this case too, Oppo offers a 3D point projector that allows you to accurately recognize the face of the registered user and this even in the dark thanks to the presence of the infrared sensor.

On the repairability, it is clear that the motorized system could put in difficulty for the less experienced, but in fact, Oppo tried to keep as much standard as possible in the arrangement of the internal components so experts that want to open the device will not struggle too much.

Let’s remember that the new Oppo Find X has a front panel of 6.4 inches in Full HD + resolution and above all that the same manages to achieve a screen ratio of 93.8% – a record. First-class hardware with Snapdragon 835, 8GB of RAM but also 256GB internal storage, 3730 mAh battery with support for fast VOOC charging and clearly the presence of a double cam at the rear 20MPx + 16MPx and a front 25MPx. Recall also that the new Oppo Find X will be sold in Italy from the end of the summer at a price of 999 €.
