Oppo R15 Pro also known as Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition in some countries is the advanced version of the Oppo R15 flagship smartphone. The Pro version is known for packing 6GB RAM and a massive 128GB storage.
As usual, there are two rear cameras with amazing aperture for clear photographs. It shoots 4K videos, supports 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device is already available on shopping stores, lets see what else it has to offer.
Design
The Oppo R15 Pro sports an aluminium alloy and ceramics mix body, the smooth back gives a warm feel when held. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner in its usual position as well, while the Oppo logo comes underneath.
At the top left corner, the dual shooters take its rightful position with the dual-LED flash beside it, all in a horizontal format. The device measures 7.5mm in thickness when you turn it over and weighs 175g. It’s available in Black, Red and White colors only.
Display
Just like the R15 the Pro version comes with the trending notched screen as well. The bottom bezel came out to play a little bit, while the notch house the usual features. The screen dishes out a 19:9 aspect ratio, even though you can hide the notch as well.
The 6.28-inch FHD AMOLED capacitive touchscreen dishes is absolutely stunning, boasting of 2280 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 402 pixel per inch density. It has a 3D curved glass on top, while the screen stretches up to 90% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 660 from Qualcomm is in charge with Octa-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here clocks at a fast speed of 2.2GHz with 14nm process technology. In the graphics department, the Adreno 512 graphics processor takes control.
For multitasking, a massive 6GB RAM is available to handle all your heavy apps, it has a memory speed of 1.8GHz as well. Internally, 128GB storage space is available, but you can upgrade up to 256GB using a memory cards. The Oppo R15 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Color OS 5.0 skin.
Camera
The 16MP + 20MP rear camera has f/1.7 and f/2.0 aperture respectively. The Sony cameras take breathtaking photographs with lots of features to enhance your photographs. It shoots 4K videos, 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps and 720p@120fps. There’s another 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 5P Lens.
Battery
Powering the Oppo R15 Pro is a 3400mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.5 hours.
