OUKITEL K7 has officially been launched by the company as an update to the K6 battery focused smartphone. At first glance, it reminds us of the BL9000 smartphone from Doogee, which we reviewed earlier.
However, the K6 sports a Magnesium Alloy frame, which is absolutely breathtaking to look at. There’s a 10000mAh battery powering it up, an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and dual rear camera. Without further ado, meet the OUKITEL K7.

Design
We’ve seen a lot smartphones sporting similar Leather designs, but the Magnesium Alloy finishing on this beauty is out of this world. The Leather body is meant to give you warm and natural feel when held. There’s a foundation mounted at the top middle that houses the rear features.
We can see the dual rear shooters vertical at the top middle, with the dual-LED flash right beside it. The fingerprint scanner comes underneath the two cameras, enabling quick access to the device. Turning over to the sides, behold the magnesium alloy finishing that glows in the presence of light. It’s available in Black with Gold finishing.
Display
When most rugged-like smartphones are coming with 18:9 aspect ratio screen and OUKITEL didn’t want to be left out in the fun. There are no physical home button at the bottom bezel here, the gold finishing at the top and bottom corner will make it look like you’re watching a movie with an expensive TV.
The massive 6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen shouldn’t be underestimated though. It boasts of 2160 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 402.49 pixel per inch density, bringing all your movies and games to life. There’s a 2.5D curved glass screen protecting the overall screen as well.

Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6750T chipset with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here clocks at a standard speed of 1.5GHz with 28nm process technology. While the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor clocks at 650MHz.
The 4GB RAM space has a memory speed of over 833MHz for smooth and fast multitasking of heavy apps. A standard 64GB storage space is available as well and upgradeable up to 128GB, if you can let go of a SIM slot. The OUKITEL K7 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
The dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera captures photographs with 4619 x 3464 pixels in dimension. The cameras comes with a dual-LED flash, portrait mode, HDR, ISO Settings, Optical Zoom, Panorama, Scene Mode, Self-Timer and lots more. The 8MP selfie shooter comes with a LED flash as well.

Battery
Powering the OUKITEL K7 is a 10000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 3.6 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
