just got one, same problem.
Emailed seller, they said ”Put in a sim card, it will work”.
Problem is USA carriers don’t support Cube tablets.
I didn’t actually buy it to use with a carrier, i bought it to store sheet music and art portfolio because it’s smaller and lighter than a laptop. Plus great apps on android. BUT!!! without google server/google play… no apps. which means i gotta figure this out!!!
googling indicates that if tablet’s rooted, a simple one-line change of hosts file will allow google connection.
extensive googling gave me some info from other countries (specifically, russia and china)
but i am gathering more before i do anything.
ive watched many videos about rooting android tablets but this model isn’t supported by most of them
