Samsung confirms Android 9 pie

Back in September, there was a leak about the emergence of the official Android 9 pie. However, now it has been officially confirmed by Samsung through the Samsung Developers Conference 2018 app that the official Android 9 pie is close by and is likely going to be unveiled at the company’s event this week.

The entire look of the software is said to be getting a major facelift with a slew of new features which include an updated lock screen with modified fonts, revamped app icons, and brand new on-screen navigations buttons. The software is also said to come with the much sought-softer dark mode which seems to be the trend in almost every app and software these days.

Users of the Galaxy S9 and the S9+ will have access to the beta version of the Samsung Experience 10 which will be rolled out after its unveiling this weekend. It is necessary to note that the  Samsung Experience will not be available to all the users across the world but only owners of the Samsung Galaxy s9 and s9+ in select countries which are residents of the US, UK, and South Korea.

Aside from confirming the regular android update, the South Korean tech giant also gave confirmation that it would be announcing a new user experiencing which is custom-made for its foldable smartphone. The foldable smartphone which has been teased for a very long time and whose rumor have entered the tech space since 2017 is set to be called Galaxy F and is expected to go on sale in early 2019. The device has a large 7.3-inch display screen.

While there is close to not much detail available on the device it is expected to be launched in silver and has been rumored to likely come with a 512 GB internal storage.
