Galaxy C10 could be Samsung’s first dual camera smartphone

2017 saw the release of one of the greatest device ever from Samsung; the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. And even before the S8 and S8 Plus, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was making waves till the “bomb fiasco” which necessitated its global recall. Both devices are great devices. By the way, just in case you aren’t of the know, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will return as the Galaxy Note FE.

However, despite the releases several attractive and top-notch smartphones from Samsung’s dorm, the top OEM hasn’t really been keeping up with one of the latest trend in the smartphone industry – Dual camera. This seem to be coming to an end this year as an image leak has prompted that Samsung will fall in line and release its first smartphone with dual camera set-up.

The image (as obtained from SlashGear) shows a device with an aluminum body that’s quite dull – not shiny, dual camera set-up which is flanked to the right by a dual tone LED flash light.

Going by available information, a couple of other Samsung devices (Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy J7 (2017)) will have dual camera embedded in them.

The Samsung Galaxy C10 is expected to have the following specs when finally announced; a wide 6-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 660 processor paired and huge 6GB of RAM. Internal storage capacity is expected to come in 2 variants; 64GB and 128GB options, and will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery. No information on whether the Galaxy C10 will come with the Quick Charge feature or not.

Several smartphone manufacturer have numerous devices rocking the dual camera feature already. Like Huawei’s (King of Dual camera) flagship Huawei P10, the budget Oukitel U22 smartphone with dual frontal and dual rear camera and many more. Why Samsung decided to wait till this moment before releasing a dual camera smartphone is still unknown. But one thing is for sure; Samsung is having its first dual camera smartphone this year, and it’s most likely the Samsung Galaxy C10.
