From a technical point of view, the WhatsApp archive is located within the application itself and. as already mentioned at the beginning of the article, if you have never archived a chat it is not visible. In case you need to change your device, smartphone, or PC, we recommend that you periodically save the conversations in backup to an e-mail or a micro-SD. You can still find the main archive, in the new versions of WhatsApp, on the main chat page, both on Android and iOS operating systems by going to Settings> Chat> Chat backup. In this regard, I suggest you read our guide on how to backup WhatsApp chats.
