Sharp A2 Lite has been launched as the cheaper variant of the upcoming A2 smartphone from the tech giant. The device was unveiled in a private event and would available on Shopping stores immediately.
Boasting of midrange specs like 3GB RAM, 32GB storage space, dual rear camera, a massive display screen and battery. Sharp is really ready for the midrange market, but is it worth the money? Lets find out.

Design
This sleek looking smartphone has a Plastic back with Metal frame, that’s quite attractive and stunning. As usual, it has dual antenna lines which adds to the beauty of the device. There’s a fingerprint scanner at the usual position for fast and easy access.
The dual shooters were placed on top of the antenna line to the left with the LED flash by the side. It’s quite bulky due to its massive battery capacity, measuring 8.8mm in thickness and weighing 152g overall. The colors available are only Black and Gold.
Display
Sharp is giving fans the Full View treatment with the A2 lite, the device dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. It has no navigation buttons at the tiny bottom bezel, with no narrow bezels in sight as well. The selfie camera, earpiece and others are at the top.
The 5.7-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen gives a good impression at first. But the details makes it look like a budget smartphone, with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. Nonetheless, the screen should be sharp and clear with 282 pixel per inch density, as it stretches up to 75%.

Hardware and Software
Sharp incorporated the MediaTek MT6737T chipset here, alongside quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-cores of processor reaches the usual clock speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology. Managing graphics is the ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor.
It has 3GB of RAM no doubt, but the 667MHz memory speed will make it work like a phone with 2GB RAM. Nevertheless, it has 32GB storage space which is upgradeable up to 128GB. The Sharp A2 Lite runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Camera
The 13MP + 5MP rear shooters should capture stunning photographs according to the company. With photo dimension of 4160 x 3120 pixels and videos of 1080p at 30fps. The camera has a LED flash and other features like CMOS Sensor, 4X Zoom, Pro Mode, PDAF and others. The 8MP selfie shooter has its own LED flash as well.

Battery
Powering the Sharp A2 Lite is a 4000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, it might take up to 3 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
