DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The front view of the Sharp Aquos R Compact is very much like that of the Sharp Aquos S2. The device sports very thin and minimal bezels and an end-to-end display. The secondary camera on the front is cut into the screen as first implemented on smartphones produced by Essential Mobile.
The home button is quite slim and it doubles as the fingerprint sensor. The rear of the Aquos R Compact is very simple and not celestial. Only the primary camera and the LED flash are the inhabitants of the device’s rear.
The screen of the Sharp Aquos R Compact may be quite small, but is of stunning quality. The device has a 4.9 inch display with a high resolution of 2032 x 1080 Pixels and an equally high pixel density of 469 pixels per inch.
PROCESSOR, OS AND STORAGE
The Sharp Aquos R Compact uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 MSM8976 Plus chipset and a 2.2 GHz Octa core processor. The device comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in memory which can be expanded to 256GB using an external memory card.

Interestingly, the Aquos R Compact will run the latest Android v8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box. Buyers and users of this device will enjoy the many features of the Android Oreo OS.
CAMERA AND BATTERY
The Sharp Aquos R Compact uses a 16 megapixels sensor as its primary camera while the secondary camera is an 8 megapixels lens. The main camera comes with a LED flash light support but the front camera lacks.
The device supports only a single SIM card and is powered by a Non-Removable 2,500 mAh Lithium Ion battery but lacks the Quick Charging technology.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The Sharp Aquos R Compact have been announced but won’t be available for purchase until October 29th 2017. The smartphone launched with a selling price of $219.
