Symphony i110 is another affordable smartphone trending on shopping stores. The phone sure offers great value for money, just like other smartphones from Symphony. The company loves releasing affordable smartphones to their “i” series.
The i110 is one of the latest installment to their “i” series. Released in January, the phone boasts of 2GB RAM and 16GB storage among other features. Want to know more about the Symphony i100? Stay with me lets review the device together.
Design
It sports an overall mix Plastic body, you’ll have to hold the device to actually believe it was made from Plastic. The phone has the perfect physical structure, and fits perfectly on your palm. It comes with a rear fingerprint scanner for easy access to the phone and private apps.
The Symphony logo is at the bottom corner, with no rear loudspeaker in sight. The “i100” engraving is at the middle to easily let you know the make of the device. The rear camera and dual-LED flash is at the top left corner in a horizontal position. It measures 8.7 mm slim and weighs 160g, it’s available in only Black. Which might be a bummer for bright color lovers.
Display
A bezel-less affordable smartphone, the i110 has much reduction in bezels and extremely narrow bezels. The little bottom bezel available is utterly useless and could have been gotten rid of. The top bezel houses another LED flash, selfie camera and ambient light sensor.
The 5.45-inch HD+ IPS capacitive touchscreen is really brilliant for a budget device. It boasts of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution and 295 pixel per inch density. The Full Vision display has an 18:9 aspect ratio and boast of 75.03 screen to body ratio, allowing you to see more.
Hardware and Software
Doing all the work underneath is the MediaTek MT6737 chipset with 4-cores processor. Disappointingly, the Quad-core processor reaches a maximum speed of 1.2 GHz with 64-bit CPU architecture and 28nm process technology. Handling graphics is the ARM Mali-T720 MP1 graphics processor running on 600MHz.
It comes with a standard 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space, the RAM space boasts of a memory speed of 640MHz. You can easily upgrade the storage space as well up to 64GB with a memory card. The i110 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera might actually disappoint some of you, it can only capture 3K resolution images. The camera comes with lots of quality features and dual-LED flash by the side. It has a Sony sensor that helps take photographs with 3606 x 3606 pixels in dimension. For selfies, the 8MP selfie camera comes with a LED flash and takes cute selfies. While you can record videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second.
Battery
Powering the Symphony i110 up is a 2900mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology support. Without the technology, it shouldn’t take more than 2 hours to fully charge the device.
