Design

Symphony Roar V150

Sports a Plastic back cover that’s removable and attractive. It has curved sides and edges, making it quite a pleasure to hold and operate. The rear camera and LED flash can be seen at the top middle in a vertical alignment.

Instead of using a rear fingerprint scanner, there’s a “Roar V150” inscription taking over its place. At the bottom corner, there’s the Symphony logo and loudspeaker. Even though it measures 9.5mm in thickness, it weighs just 145g overall. It’s available in Black and Gray colors only.

If you want a bezel-less smartphone for very little money, then the Roar V150 might be your device of choice. Dishing out an 18:9 aspect ratio with a Full View display and sports super minimal top and bottom bezel.

Focusing on the highlight, the 5.34-inch FWVGA+ TFT capacitive touchscreen stretches from side to side. However, it has extremely low quality, boasting of 960 x 480 pixels in resolution and 201 pixel per inch density. The screen stretches up to 71% screen to body ratio as well.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood is the Spreadtrum SC9832 chip with Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-Cores of processor here reaches a standard speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology. The ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processor clocks at 512MHz.

For multitasking, just 1GB RAM space is available here with a memory speed of 533MHz for a smooth ride. There’s a standard 8GB storage space ready to accommodate your files including apps. You can expand the storage space up to 32GB with a memory card. The Symphony Roar V150 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

Camera

The 5MP rear camera here comes with f/2.2 aperture and a LED flash. The camera should be able to capture photographs with 2582 x 1936 pixels in dimension. Enjoy features like Continuous shooting, Autofocus, Digital zoom, HDR, Panorama, Face detection, Touch focus, ISO settings, White balance settings, Self-timer, Exposure compensation, Scene mode and others. Then for taking selfies, there’s a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture as well and a LED flash.

Battery

Powering the Symphony Roar V150 is a 2500mAh removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, it might take up to 2 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
