Ulefone Armor 3W Quick Review, Specs/Features & Price

I love this all new Ulefone Armor 3W smartphone for have almost everything a suave smartphone lover would like to see in a mobile phone. This is a rugged device so don’t expect it to look any fanciful. However, it looks good though and the features are even looking better than the design. Let’s quickly review this powerhouse of a mobile smartphone and see just how big it is. This phone has just been released yesterday, 10th September 2019.

Ulefone Armor 3W Design and Display

This Ulefone Armor 3W is made of aluminum alloy, polycarbonate and rugged body design materials. Dimensions are 79.2 x 164.8 x 18.15 mm and it weighs 364 grams. Very heavy indeed. The colors of this device are black and orange. Users are familiar with the way Ulefone is when it comes to device colors.

On the display there is IPS, LCD capacitive touchscreen glass. The size of the display is 5.7 inches, while the resolution is 1080 x 2160 which to me is a good enough resolution for a screen this large. Also noted is the regular 16 million colors in the display, and for protection, there is Corning Gorilla glass screen.  The pixel density is 424 ppi. The screen to body ratio is 65 percent.

Camera Features

This Ulefone Armor 3W is a dual camera phone. As such, the main rear camera is 21 MP. For selfies there is 8 MP front camera which also arrives in its own unique manner but without flash power. Good camera features in the device include auto focus, touch focus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, scene mode, ISO setting and more.

Ulefone Armor 3W runs on Android 9.0 Pie on modified user interface. In the same way, this smartphone is also powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset of 64-bit processor. The CPU is Octa core ARM Cortex-A73. But the GPU is ARM Mali G72 MP3, Cores- 3. Process technology is 12nm.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

This smartphone storage capacity is 6GB which the user is unable to expand. However, the 64GB internal memory is able to increase by means of microSD up to 256GB. There are many sensors here in this mobile phone and they are proximity, light, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, fingerprint, coulometer, and barometer.

Network and Connectivity

The Ulefone Armor 3W brings along all the features of a 4G Android smartphone and all other components such as Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, A-GPS, and others like it. There is also NFC, headphone jack, and the like. Interestingly, this mobile phone too is able to switch over from one network to the other as it does when searching for the best available network present in a certain location. The phone makes use of two nano SIM cards.

Battery Power

Powering the Ulefone Armor 3W device is Li-Po 10,300 mAh battery which is non-removable. That’s excellent for backup. Further, there is no wireless charging but there is fast charging technology herein. Standby time is up to 1300 hours.
