The UMIDIGI S2 with a bezel-less edge-to-edge display was made available in its $50 off flash sale on Monday via partner Gearbest.com. And as expected with the rapid demand, the smartphone was sold out in just one day from the beginning of the sale.
Shipment of the first run orders is starting at Sep 28th to the shop.
Just earlier this week, the UMIDIGI S2 crossed over 70k registrations, while the demand for the smartphone increased over time.
To meet up with users expectation, UMIDIGI has started the 2nd run flash sale with $30 off but very limited 3000pcs only. Once it’s finished, the price will go up to $229.99 again. Expected shipment starts in Oct.8th.
As for the specifications, UMIDIGI S2 features a 6-inch HD+ 18:9 display. It is powered by an helio P20 SoC clocked at up to 2.3GHz and coupled with 4GB of RAM. 5100mAh massive battery with USB Type and Quick Charge PE+ 2.0. It sports a 13+5mp Sony IMX258 dual camera sensor. On the front, it packs a 5-megapixel camera with the same facial recognition function.
