Vernee Mars Specifications, Review and Price
Vernee is a Chinese smartphone company that was founded and launched in February 2016. The Chinese OEM is the brain behind great device like the Vernee Thor (their pioneer device), Vernee Apollo X and Vernee Apollo Lite. The Vernee Mars is the company’s third device and the point of our interest today.

DESIGN
The body of the Vernee Mars smartphone is a finely polished metal-unibody design made from Aluminium. The simplicity of the design is very awesome and adds some good points to the overall beauty of the smartphone. The Vernee Mars boasts of a dimension of 151.6mm height by 73mm width by 7.6mm thickness. The device is slim and lightweight at 161grams.
In addition to the device’s thinness, the Vernee Mars has tiny bezels as it boasts of an impressive 81% screen-to-body ratio. The budget smartphone is available in two colour variants; Gold and Grey.
One particular thing I love about the Vernee company is the fact that they are pretty innovative. At the right side of the Vernee Mars smartphone, there’s a fingerprint sensor embedded; right below the lock/power button.
DISPLAY
A 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display is what is in charge of visuals on the Vernee Mars. The screen has a sharp Touch and Display Driver Information (TDDI) technology which greatly enhances touch sensitivity. The TDDI technology not only increases touch responses, but also reduces power consumption. The 1080 x 1920 pixels resoluted display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with 2.5D curved glass screen.
PROCESSOR, OS & STORAGE
A Helio P10 MTK6755 processor which performs operations with speed is what the Mars smartphone possesses. The speed of the processor can also be attributed to Vernee’s on-board software optimization. The 4GB of RAM on this device makes it capable of heavy multitasking and low power consumption; this is also due in part to the battery saving feature of the on-board Android v6.0 Marshmallow.
There’s 32GB available storage which can be expanded to a 128GB capacity using an external SDcard.
CAMERA
The Vernee Mars is equipped with a SONY-manufactured 13.0 megapixels Exmor RS Sensor. The camera takes sharp and well lighted pictures with the aid of the dual-tone LED flash and some other features like auto-focus and phase detection.
The secondary camera on the other hand, is a 5.0 megapixels wide-angle camera manufactured by Samsung.
BATTERY
A non-removable Li-Polymer battery with capacity of 3,000mAh powers the Vernee Mars smartphone. The battery charges from 0% to 100% in no time due to the presence of Quick charge feature on the device.
