Vertex Impress Aqua has been released in the USA and is a very affordable smartphone like the rest of the other Impress smartphones. It was announced and released in the month of November, 2018 and now buyers are seeing just how good the device is.

Granted, this smartphone is not for those who value snapping only the highest quality pictures with their phones or playing video games extensively with their phones. It comes with the barest minimum features that only the humble users will appreciate.

Let us look at the price, camera, hardware, battery and other fine aspects of Vertex Impress Aqua in the review written below.

Design and Display of Vertex Impress Aqua

Design material prevalent in the smartphone is plastic. Dimensions are 150 x 72 x 8.7 mm and it weighs 190 grams. It comes in champagne and gray colors. This is not a water resistant device, has fingerprint sensor and no face recognition technology.

Display type is IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen with no secondary display. The screen size is 5.5 inches and it comes with 16 million colors on the display. Furthermore, pixel density is 195 ppi, pixel resolution is 960 x 480. Other good features are 18:9 aspect ratio, and 72.5 screen to body ratio.

Camera Features

The primary rear camera consists of 8 MP. It arrives with LED flash. To the front, there is a selfie camera of 5 MP but there is no front flash in the camera. The video performance is 720p@30fps.

Other camera features are geotagging, auto focus, HDR, touch focus, face detection, and panorama.

Hardware and software

Good thing is Android OS v8.1 Oreo Go Edition runs supreme in the device. For chipset, there is MediaTek MT6739WA with process technology 28nm, working on 64-bit architecture. The CPU is 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A53, and the GPU is PowerVR GE8100.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Vertex Impress Aqua is out with a scanty 1GB of RAM that cannot be expanded. However, the internal storage is 8GB which can be increased to 128GB through the use of a micro-SD card.

Sensors in the device are accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light.

Network and Connectivity

It is good to know that the Vertex Impress Aqua is a 4G smartphone. It means that it can handle 2G, 3, and 4G internet network connections. Therefore, GSM, HSPA, and LTE are the supported networks in the device. There are also 2 nano SIM card slots to make these operate better.

Other connectivity components are Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. However, there are no infrared, NFC, or HDMI technology in the device.

Powering the device is a Li-Po 2300 mAh removable battery. This battery has no wireless charging or fast charging technology in-built. The standby time is up to 240 hours and talk time is up to 8 hours.
