A 5-inch device with a solid body and low-level specs, it retails at a giveaway price with 4G LTE compatibility. Without further ado, lets see what the Vertex Impress Eagle has in store for us today.
Design
A combination of Plastic and Metal here, the body is more solid than what we are used to from the company. Sporting dual antenna lines which brings out the beauty overall. The texture of the main body looks a little different from the demarcation part.
The rear camera is at the top middle, with a LED flash underneath. There’s a Vertex logo at the bottom corner, with no fingerprint scanner in sight. It’s quite slim by the sides which is unlike most budget smartphones, measuring 8.1 mm slim. It weighs 154g and available in Black and Gold colors only.
Display
The narrow bezels are at its minimal though, but it’s not entirely bezel-less obviously. Three navigation buttons are at the bottom bezel, which is so 2016. The top bezel is pretty busy housing the selfie camera, front LED flash, ambient light sensor and speaker grille.
The 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of 1280 x 720 pixels in resolution. Dishes out a 16:9 aspect ratio with 294 pixel per inch density. The screen supports multi-touch and stretches up to 68% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6737M chip with a 64-bit CPU architecture and 4-cores of processor. The Quad-core processor on the Vertex Impress Eagle reaches a speed of 1.25GHz with a 28nm process technology. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor is in charge.
The graphics processor comes with a single core and clocks at 550MHz. For multitasking, there’s just 1GB of RAM space with a memory speed of 640 MHz. While for storage, there’s 8GB you can upgrade further up to 128GB using a memory card. Vertex Impress Eagle runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box.
Camera
The 8MP rear camera on the Vertex Impress Eagle has f/2.2 aperture and captures 3K resolution images. The camera at the top middle has 5P Lens and comes with a LED flash as well. It should be able to capture photographs with 3264 x 2448 pixels in dimension. For selfies, the 5MP selfie shooter comes with a LED flash for night video calls and selfies.
Battery
Powering the Vertex Impress Eagle is a 2500mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 2.5 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
