The Vertex Impress Blade has been launched by Vertex in Russia, the Impress Blade is the latest installment to the Impress budget series that offers great value for money.
The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space for those on a budget. You also get an octa-core processor to execute tasks faster speed and a moderate battery capacity as well. Lets find out more.
Design
The Impress Blade sports a Metal and Plastic mix body as well, the curved sides and edges of the device provides a firm grip when held. The metal foundation at the top was designed to accommodate dual shooters but Vertex integrated just a single camera.
There’s a fingerprint scanner underneath the foundation which grants biometric access to the device. A dual-LED flash sits beside the foundation as well, it measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 188g overall. It was launched in Gold.
Display
Vertex isn’t ready to fully adopt the trending 18:9 or 19:9 aspect ratio screens, as the company went for the older 16:9 aspect ratio screen. The Impress Blade sports three navigation buttons at the bottom bezel, while the usual features are present at the top.
The 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is more than perfect for the device’s price. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 401 pixel per inch density. Moving further, the screen stretches up to 70.55% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
The device is powered by the MT6750 chip from MediaTek, the chip was built on a 28nm process technology. It has 8-cores of processor that clocks at 1.5GHz, while the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor clocks at 520MHz.
There’s 2GB RAM for multitasking all your apps and files. While the storage space is pegged at 16GB and you can upgrade up to 128GB. The Vertex Impress Blade runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
The single 16MP rear camera comes with a dual-LED flash and other internal features to help you take better photographs. While at the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera that comes with a LED flash as well.
Battery
Powering the Vertex Impress Blade is a 3300mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.2 hours.
