Vertex Impress Stone Specs Review, Price, 4G Android, 8GB Internal Storage

Vertex Impress Stone has been around for a while now. This mobile device is good for people who are not asking too much in the way of features in a smartphone. However, some looking for a second phone may not mind a simple device such as this phone.

This review is designed to explain what usual features and unusual features you can find in this phone that was announced in January 2019 and began shipping immediately. Let’s also find out such things as price, display, network and other salient features of the phone.

Design and Display

The design for Vertex Impress Stone phone is a mixture of metal and plastic. It shines and looks sleek so much that the user may be thinking they are made of more sophisticated materials. It comes in two colors of black and gold. However, note that the manufacturer did not make it a waterproofed device. One good thing here is the fingerprint scanner.

Further at the display, the user can find a display type that’s called IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. The size is 5.45 inches large. Now, you know that this is not a gaming phone. There are other features such as 197 pixels per inch (PPI) and 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen to body ratio percentage is 71.7 percent.

Camera Features

There are three cameras for the Vertex Impress Stone. At the rear you can find 8 MP and another 0.3 MP. These come fortified with LED flash. The video performance is 720p. Further, there are other good features such as geotagging, touch focus, face detection, auto focus, HDR, scene mode, self timer and other features. At the front, there is a selfie camera of 5 MP which comes without front flash.

Hardware & Software

MediaTek MT6739 chipset reigns supreme in this phone. Also, it is fortified with 28nm process technology and 64 bit architecture. For CPU, it is 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A53, while the graphics department which is otherwise known as the GPU is PowerVR GE8100, 570 MHz. Furthermore, the operating software is Android OS v8.1 Oreo Go Edition, no Java support at all.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

For storage sake, there is 1GB of RAM which in itself cannot be expanded. But the internal storage of 8GB can be increased up to 64GB with a  microSD card. This is existing in its dedicated slot.

As regards sensors, there are four of them; accelerometer, proximity, light, and fingerprint.

Network and Connectivity

In the case of network and connectivity, this is as good as what obtained in many high-end phones. In spite of the simplicity of this device it is a 4G Android phone, which also works on 2G and 3G. Therefore, supported networks are GSM, HSPA, and LTE. No hybrid SIM can work right here in this phone but a nano SIM is just perfect.

Connectivity components include Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack, micro USB 2.0 but there is no infrared, or HDMI in the device.

Battery Life in Vertex Impress Stone

To power this device, there is a Li-Ion battery, 2700 mAh-strong, and is removable. This is designed to work on the phone for up to 10 hours. There is no wireless charging capacity in the phone and there is no fast charging option either.

The official price of Vertex Impress Stone price is approximately $69 USD. As to its availability, it is very much available in mobile phone stores at the moment, having been released in the month of January 2019.
