From photos to videos, Facebook has always seen the people you connected with. When you use Facebook for companies, the chat and video call services integrated into the social network can connect you directly with your customers, as long as your computer has a webcam and a microphone. Facebook video chat always has both voice and video streams, so both devices are needed.
How to Video call on Facebook
Log in to Facebook using your personal account. If this account is linked to your company page, you can interact with pages and people as a company; you can’t use the company account for video calls, so don’t choose to “Use Facebook as” for your business.
Look for a contact on the right side of Facebook that is online and has a green icon next to his name. If all the people in the right window are disabled, click on “Enable chat”.
Start chatting with someone you want to make a video call with, then click the video icon at the top of the chat window to start the call, which automatically starts the video installer. You can also go to a friend’s timeline, click on the gear icon and choose “Video call”.
