Vivo XPlay6 with Curved edge display ; Specifications and Price

The two High end devices, Vivo X9 and X9 plus are not the only devices Vivo announced recently, they also announced another device, Vivo XPlay6.

The Vivo Xplay6 is a slim device with metal finishing, the phone comes with a 5.46-inch QHD AMOLED with resolution at 1440 x 2560, with curved edge at both sides , similar to Samsung galaxy S6 edge,S7 edge, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 ,the failed galaxy Note 7 and the Huawei Mate 9 pro.

The Xplay6 comes with  6GB of RAM and a massive 128GB of internal memory, of course, without external memory card slot. Vivo Xplay6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU.

Like the Vivo X9 and X9 plus with dual front camera, the Vivo Xplay6 also comes with dual camera , but  at the rear, The rear camera is 12MP with flash, comes with a Sony IMX362 sensor, 4-axis OIS, and an aperture of f/1.7. and  with the rear-facing 5MP snapper, users can achieve a depth-of-field effect with the phone, Taking care of selfies is a 16 MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

The Xplay6 has a fingerprint scanner combined with the home button like the recently released Vivo V5 , the Vivo X9 , and Vivo X9 plus, just below the display, a 3.5mm headset jack with a dedicated ES9038 DAC+ OPA1622 amplifier below the phone. The phone runs on Android 6.0 out of the box, with Vivo’s customized OS, FunTouch OS 3.0, with full Connectivity options including; 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 ac and GPS.

The Vivo Xplay 6 will go on sale via Vivo’s retail and online channels starting on December 12th. It is priced at the equivalent of $655 USD.
