Wiko Lenny 4 with 16GB Storage – Review, Full Specs and Price

Wiko Lenny 4 is another budget smartphone that’s trending on shopping stores right now. The 5-inch smartphone is very affordable with the average specs for light users. More than perfect for those on a budget, the Wiko Lenny 4 might be your ideal phone.

The company sure knows how to make their budget smartphones. However, would have loved to see the RAM space expanded a bit. But nevertheless, the Lenny 4 is trending on shopping stores. Want to know why? Stay with me.

Design

Wiko Lenny 4

A cute little smartphone, the budget smartphone sports a plastic back. It’s portability makes it easy and comfortable to operate and hold. No rear fingerprint scanner anywhere at the back, so I’m guessing it doesn’t come with the feature. The Wiko logo claimed their territory at the back, the rear camera is the top left corner.

The rear camera is on top the antenna line, which of course adds to the beauty to an extent. The LED flash sits comfortably underneath the rear shooter while a rear loudspeaker is at the bottom corner in a horizontal format to round-up the features at the back. It measures 10.6 mm slim and weighs 170g. The colors available are Gold, Gray, Green and Pink.

Bezels are annoying, but most budget smartphones still come with them and we have to deal with that. Another Wiko logo is at the top bezel at the extreme right corner beside the selfie camera. The speaker grille is at the usual position, same as the ambient light sensor. Three navigation buttons are at the bottom bezel.

Focusing on the screen now, the 5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Your games and movies should come out great thanks to 294 pixel per inch density. It’s not bezel-less, as the screen could only reach 64% screen to body ratio.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6580 chipset with Quad-core processor. The processor reaches a clock speed of 1.3 GHz, coupled with 32-bit CPU architecture and 28nm process technology. Handling graphics is the ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processor with 2-Cores.

For multitasking it comes with just 1GB RAM space and a memory speed of 533MHz for light multitasking. In terms of storage, 16GB storage space is available and can be upgraded to 32GB with a memory card. The Lenny 4 runs smoothly on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified UI.

Camera

The 8MP rear camera comes with a f/2.2 aperture and captures 3K resolution images. Photographs taken with the Lenny 4 should reach a dimension of 3264 x 2448 pixels. There’s a LED flash underneath the camera as well to help take quality photographs in low light environment. Videos of 720 pixels can be recorded at 30 frames per second, while selfies can be taken with the 5MP selfie camera.

Battery

Powering the Wiko Lenny 4 up is 2500mAh removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology support. Without the feature, it shouldn’t take more than 2 hours to fully charge up the battery.
