Wiko Robby 2 Specs Review, Price and Where to buy

2017 can be said to be a great year for Wiko. The France based smartphone company have released devices like the Wiko Upulse, Wiko Upulse Lite, Wiko Sunny Max and many more. You can click HERE to see the full list, specifications, features and prices of all 2017 Wiko phones.

Joining the long list is an upgrade to last year’s Wiko Robby – the Wiko Robby 2; an entry-level smartphone with pretty decent specs at an affordable price.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY

Wiko Robby 2

The design of the Wiko Robby 2 is pretty much boring – not saying it’s bad, but  it lacks that “WOW” touch. This isn’t a downside though, the device was made with affordability in mind. Not too much should be expected.

Moving on, a closer perusal of the device’s front reveals two speakers (one at the top of the screen, and one at the base). This dual front facing camera system brings the Infinix Smart X5010 and Infinix Hot 5 to mind. This speaker layout brings the best of audio experience either when watching movies or when playing music – you don’t have to turn your phone upside down and scratch your screen in the process.

The Wiko Robby 2 rocks a 5.5 inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 1280 x pixels resolution.

PROCESSOR, OS AND STORAGE

The processor of the Wiko Robby 2 is really nothing to write home about (a 1.1 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 210 SoC), but the storage is. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can pull stretched to 64GB using an external Micro SD card.

The Wiko Robby 2 supports dual Micro SIM card and comes out of the box with the Android v7.1 operating system.

CAMERA AND BATTERY

The shooters placed on this device are good enough for a budget smartphone such as the Wiko Robby 2. On the rear, a single 8 MP lens is the main snapper of the Robby 2. It also comes with a single LED flash embedded right below it. With this, you can take the best of selfies during the day, night and any environment at anytime of the day.

The secondary camera put in charge of taking selfies for your social media platforms is a single 5 MP lens. Interestingly, the front camera also comes with a LED flash.

Keeping the Wiko Robby 2 up and doing is a Lithium Ion battery with a 2,800 mAh capacity. The battery can provide a talk time of up to 27 hours on 2G network and 20 hours on 3G network.
