Xiaomi Mi Band 4 with NFC is already on its way to Europe!

The Xiaomi heard customers and as such will release the NFC version of the Mi Band 4 in Europe within a few weeks. Until now, this version was exclusive to China, but it will soon be available in Russia and later in Europe.

Initially, only Mastercard payments will be supported. To activate this function you will need to add your map in the Mi Fit application and select your region. However, support for Visa, Google Pay, and PayPal must be added, but there is no information at this time.

In this regard, MasterCard PayPass is available in Germany, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Turkey, England, and France. This is tantamount to saying that the next areas where the NFC version of the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will be released are those listed above. The NFC version of the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will first be launched in Russia on June 16 and will cost around 58 Euros.

Although this is excellent news for Mi Band 4, all eyes are already on Mi Band 5. In short, this bet from Xiaomi will have a 1.2-inch screen. Interestingly, the live photos reveal a new charger. Apparently, the new Mi Band 5 will have a kind of “plug-in” design. Despite this change, the rest of the design is not that different. However, it appears to have a flatter finish. Of course, this may be a matter of perspective, but it seems a little flatter than its predecessor. The Mi Band 4 has more pronounced curves. Still, it seems to me that this design will work better.

However, the international version will have the NFC function. This is undoubtedly an excellent thing for anyone who wants to use contactless payments. In fact, many people expected this news.

Another feature is that the Mi Band 5 will allow the measurement of SpO2, that is, the oxygen saturation in the blood. However, we will also see improvements in heart rate. Among other health functions, monitoring the menstrual cycle also stands out.

In addition, there is also a new feature that was added to the Xiaomi Mi Band 5. I speak specifically of the photo capture function via smartphone. It is true that this has even been seen in other smartwatches and smartbands. However, it is the first time that it reaches Mi Band 5. In addition, we will have five new sport modes. They are yoga, elliptical machine, rowing machine, skipping rope, and indoor cycling. This increases the total number of sports modes to 11.
