ZTE has officially announced the ZTE MAX XL smartphone, available through Boost Mobile in the United States. The mid-ranger features a 2.5D curved glass screen 6-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass providing protection against falls or scratches. The ZTE MAX XL runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS (out of the box) and packs a 3990mAh phone battery while also sporting a fingerprint sensor at the rear.

The device features a 6-inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display much like the ZTE Blade Max 3 with protection against drop-damages offered by the tough and sturdy Corning Gorilla Glass. It also has a screen resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and pixel density of ~367 ppi.

The ZTE MAX XL has a camera setup that consists of a 13MP shooter with LED flash at the rear and a selfie camera of 5MP for a memorable selfie experience with friends and family. It operates on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat Operating system out of the box.

The MAX XL possesses a 2GB RAM capacity with an internal storage of 16GB which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The MAX XL gets powered by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset which has a clock speed of 1.4GHz while the Adreno 505 GPU controls the graphics.

Along with the impressive 3990mAh battery it carries which can last up to 350hrs on standby, the smartphone supports Qualcomm fast charge. Other features include; fingerprint scanner, Gyroscope, GPS.
