The Meizu Pro 7 is one of the latest smartphone from Meizu and the device really goes a long way in publicizing and expanding one of latest the groundbreaking landmark in the smartphone world by having two screens – the main large display at the front and a second screen at the back. The Meizu Pro 7 Plus on the other hand is the second, bigger and fine-tuned version of the Meizu Pro 7 and it carries better and more improved features than those on the Meizu Pro 7.
The Meizu Pro 7 Plus comes with a much bigger primary screen with a size of 5.7 inch (0.5 inch bigger than the 5.2 inch Meizu Pro 7). The screen is also a much better Quad-HD Super AMOLED display with an equally better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
However, the secondary screen size at the rear remains the same; a 2.0 inch Super AMOLED display incorporation with the dual cameras and allows you take perfect selfies with the rear cameras. Also, when the device is placed upside-down, the secondary screen displays the time, temperature, weather conditions, and some app notifications.
The Meizu Pro 7 Plus packs a wholesome 6 GB of RAM and runs the Android v7.0 Nougat operating system. The combo of the device’s RAM and operating system would give the best multitasking experience you could ever want in a device. 6 GB RAM is really huge, and you also get to enjoy the inherent Android Nougat multi-window function and run two apps on the Meizu Pro 7 Plus’ screen simultaneously. The device uses the latest MediaTek Helio X30 chipset and the PowerVR 7XTP graphics processing unit. There are two storage variants of the Meizu Pro 7 Plus, a 64 GB and 128 GB built-in memory version.
The rear camera still remains the dual Sony Exmor IMX386 12 megapixels sensors with dual-tone LED flash. The 16 megapixels secondary camera on the front is the same used on the smaller Meizu Pro 7. This device comes with a battery with much bigger capacity; 3,500 mAh as compared to the Meizu Pro 7’s 3,000 mAh. The Pro Plus also comes a USB Type-C charging port and Meizu’s native mCharge 4.0 fast charging feature. The device is available in Matte black, Space black, Amber gold, and Crystal silver colours.
As expected, the Meizu Pro 7 Plus costs more than the Meizu Pro 7. The device costs between $550 – $600 depending on location and store of purchase.
