A mid-level Google Pixel with Snapdragon 710 could exist, but we’ll only see it in 2024

The indiscretion comes from the well-known leakster Roland Quandt, who received a tip to discuss.

Only a couple of days ago we talked about important rumors about the new generation of Google Pixel smartphones, which could be for the first time produced by Foxconn   – therefore no longer commissioned to partner producers – have a top hardware and get to market in October as usual. The rumors, however, spoke of at least two new models, which could leave us thinking of a third unprecedented model, perhaps at the lower end and cost. And here is indeed a new rumor that proceeds in this direction.

Among other things, the source is quite reliable, namely that Roland Quandt whose forecasts and anticipations have often turned into reality. In Taipei during the Computex 2018, the German leakster received a tip about the processing by Google of a mobile device   – difficult that it is another compared to a smartphone – equipped with the very promising SoC medium-high band Snapdragon 710 Qualcomm and currently scheduled for the first part of 2019.

Since this is a project that is still at an embryonic stage, other details on technical specifications or on the type of project are not currently known, thus leaving the field to many speculations. However, Quandt himself immediately thought of a mid-range Pixel, of which we have already heard in the past and that currently remains the most plausible hypothesis. If there is meat in the fire, we will certainly hear it again, but for the moment let us know in the comments how you imagine design, price and the rest of the specifications of a possible Pixel mid-range.
